This comic strip looks at the impact of the Black Death. Great for reviewing and revision.
These lesson resources focus on political parties in the Weimar Republic and in particular what the left and right wing parties stood for and wanted with a reference to growing extremism.
This visual resource is for a Key Stage 3 group. I intend to use it in a number of ways –
– For weaker students, this can act as a visual prompt to the main components of the story of the execution of Charles I.
– For most students, I will ask them to write a paragraph summarising the story of the execution of Charles I in which they have to reference each of the four images in the resource.
– For the most able, they have to identify the extra image to reference in their summary – the background is carefully hidden snowflakes – the detail that this was the weather when Charles I was executed.
– For weaker students, they can cut out the images and place them in an order which summarises the story and use them to create a storyboard instead of a full paragraph.
These lesson resources are for a lesson on the structure of the Weimar Republic and are written for a GCSE class.
This visual hexagon activity focuses upon the question whether Henry VIII’s foreign policy was a success. Students should be encouraged to identify the images and how they link to the central question and then make links where each side of a hexagon touches the side of another hexagon. Great reviewing activity!
