These lesson resources aimed for a GCSE class focus upon the New Deal and how it tackled the problem of unemployment and made industry more efficient. The resources include a PowerPoint with the lesson components of a starter, lesson content, tasks and a plenary as well as a worksheet with a cartoon analysis exercise. Hopefully they will be useful.

This visual hexagon activity focuses upon the reasons why Thomas Cromwell fell in 1540. Students should be encouraged to identify the images and how they link to the central question and then make links where each side of a hexagon touches the side of another hexagon. Great reviewing activity!
