This visual resource – ideal for a plenary – asks students to consider how each of the images relate to the reasons why King John accepted the Magna Carta. To extend the activity, students could –
– give a fact about each image’s link to why the Magna Carta was accepted by King John.
– identify which is the odd one out and why or choose one image and students have to justify it as the odd one out.
– students have to justify which image is the most significant in showing why the Magna Carta was agreed.
